FAQ
Is the H14 legal for tournament play?
Yes, under UPA-A rules. The H14 is UPA-A certified, so you can play it at PPA Tour and Major League Pickleball events and at any tournament that follows UPA-A paddle rules. It isn't USA Pickleball (USAP) approved. If your events require USAP approval, the E14 and S14 carry both.
Should I choose the 14mm H14 or the 16mm H16?
Both use the same hybrid shape, triple-layer face and triple-density foam core. The H14 feels crisper and more direct, with faster swings and a little more control. The H16 adds a plush, stable response and more natural power. The H16 is listed as coming soon.
Who is the H14 built for?
Intermediate to advanced players with an all-court, control-oriented game who want a balance of reach and hand speed in one paddle.
How heavy is the H14?
It weighs 7.9 oz with a 111 swing weight, on a 5.5 inch handle with a 4 1/4 inch grip. If you like more weight, lead or tungsten tape on the edge guard is fine and doesn't affect your 30-day trial.
How does the hybrid shape compare with the elongated and widebody?
All three EZ Speed shapes share the same foam core, face and edge system; only the geometry changes. The hybrid H14 (16.2" x 7.8") gives you faster hands and more stability than the elongated E14, with more reach than the widebody S14. It's the all-court choice in the line.
What if the H14 isn't right for my game?
Every paddle bought on elevenzerosports.com comes with a 30-day risk-free trial. Play it, change the grip, add lead or tungsten tape. If the H14 isn't the right paddle for your game, exchange it for another model or return it for a full refund, and we cover return shipping on US orders. Email shop@elevenzerosports.com to start, and refunds are processed within 5 business days of the paddle reaching us. Paddles with an altered face, core or frame don't qualify, and neither do purchases from Amazon or other retailers. Every Eleven Zero paddle also carries a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
What does a triple-density foam core do?
The H14 uses three foams: a floating EPP foam center for a dense, direct response, a soft EVA layer around it, and hard edge foam at the perimeter so shots caught wide still come back on line. At 14mm, it plays crisp and direct, with fast swings and clear feedback on every shot.
